Waabi Innovation Inc. (“Waabi,” “we,” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share information when you:

  • Visit or interact with our website.

  • Contact us to request information about Waabi or our technology.

  • Apply for a job with us or engage with us for recruiting purposes.

We refer to these activities collectively as the “Services.”

Job application and recruiting information. If you apply for a role with Waabi, we collect information you submit in connection with your application, including your résumé or CV, cover letter, employment and education history, contact information and any other information you choose to provide. 

You may choose not to provide certain information, but doing so may limit your ability to use some parts of the Services or to be considered for employment opportunities.

When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect limited information about your browser or device, such as:

  • Pages viewed and links clicked

  • Date and time of your visit

We use this information to operate, secure and improve our website and to understand how visitors engage with it.

  • Recruiting. Upon application a unique and private profile is created in our secure applicant tracking system which has restricted user access. From this private profile, personal information is used in reviewing and evaluating candidates, managing the application process, and communicating with applicants .

  • Security and fraud prevention. Protecting the safety and security of the Services and detecting and preventing fraud or other harmful activity.

  • Legal and compliance. Complying with our legal and regulatory obligations, resolving disputes and enforcing our agreements.

  • Business operations. Operating, analyzing and improving our business, including in connection with a potential transaction such as a merger, financing or acquisition.

Where required by law, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases to process personal information:

  • The processing is necessary to perform a contract with you or to take steps you request before entering into a contract.

  • The processing is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided these interests are not overridden by your rights.

Waabi is headquartered in Canada and has operations in the United States and elsewhere.
